GUIDED CHAOS is very different
from other self-defense systems.
Guided Chaos was created in 1979 by Grandmaster John C. Perkins, a former Yonkers NY Police Detective and Crime Scene Expert. Perkins did this in response to a surge in violent crime in the 1970's and 80's when ordinary police tactics proved to be totally inadequate for the reality officers faced daily. As a police officer who had been in over 100 violent encounters with criminal assailants, Perkins clearly understood what worked and what didn't. Because he was trained in the warrior fighting arts from the age of 5 by his father and WWII veteran uncles, Perkins was able to call upon his vast knowledge and experience to create a realistic and effective fighting art. As a result, Guided Chaos was designed from the beginning to deal with the true reality of violence.
